FROM RUSSIA WITH LIKE

A single cam half-hour comedy about a force of nature Russian woman who with the help of a sweet American man she meets online, makes her way to the US and becomes LA’s newest and most unique illegal immigrant.

Sasha wants it all. Career, love, white Mercedes. And she wants it right now. She is a feminist pirate with a Russian backbone but an American heart. She comes from a hard, cruel part of the world and so in order to survive, she has lived by a “looser” moral code than we do. She is a Siberian tiger and a tiger doesn’t feel remorse that they must kill to eat. To get what she wants, Sasha feels completely justified using tools like power, sex and fear in ways most of us aren’t comfortable with. She is also a different kind of immigrant. Most, especially illegal immigrants, come to this country and follow all of the rules, but not Sasha. She can’t. She is an outlaw by nature. And she is quickly learning that America loves an outlaw.
